Utah Beekeepers' Association

As Currently Organized since 1892; Serving and Representing Utah's Beekeepers Since the Early 1860's.
Mission Statement: Our aim is to keep beekeepers in the state of Utah informed about what is happening in the industry; to promote beekeeping and honey production for all Commercial, Sideliner and Hobbyist Beekeepers.

Note: This is not the form you need to register as a beekeeper with the State of Utah. Registering as a beekeeper with the state does not include membership in this association. You need to do both.

Association Purposes and Membership

The Utah Beekeepers' Association represents beekeepers in the state of Utah as well as those who are interested in the craft.

One of the benefits of membership is free attendance at the Association's annual conference -- two days filled with beekeeping knowledge. Those who choose to attend in person will pay an extra $5 in membership dues to cover the cost of a lunch at the convention.

Association membership for individuals, not as couples or as groups. Association expenses for producing our annual conference and other events are based on head count. So, if you represent multiple persons participate in Association events you will each need your own membership.

The Association was founded specifically to protect the health and productivity of our honey bees. We do that by providing information and training to Utah's beekeepers. Our membership ranges from students working on a science project to 4-H youth beekeepers to hobbyists and to those who earn a living keeping bees.

We do not compete with or interfere with Utah's many local beekeeping clubs and we encourage everyone interested in the honey bee to participate in their nearest local beekeeping club as well as the Utah Beekeepers' Association.

If you prefer the old-fashioned paper application, view and download your membership application here. Send your application and check made out to Utah Beekeepers' Association to the Secretary at the address shown on the application.

Dues are paid based on the calendar year (January through December). Dues paid in November and December are applied to the following year.
